Circus!

We took the boys to the circus Sunday. We went with another family from the boys' preschool. As we've learned to do this last year, we didn't mention it until the morning of the event. The boys were really excited. Off we went... Shrine Circus. Not what I had imagined but the boys really enjoyed it.

There were horses, a couple elephants, and dogs but there were also scantily dressed women dancing with hula hoops, ropes, etc., and techno music - lots of it and very loud! There was also a clown, motorcycle rides in a big globe cage, and even a light saber glowing blue that you could buy for a mere $10 a piece. We of course bought 2! Plus an extra which works out for J so he has one to play with too.

I figured it was a success though because as we were walking away, S said "Mommy, can we do this again someday". When we saw people coming for the next show that afternoon, S asked why we didn't go to that show too. Too cute. Both boys said they liked the clown the best (I'm thinking N actually enjoyed the motorcycles the most but said the clown because S did)
