Last night was date night and it was my night with S. He decided to go to Elephant Bar and so off we went. It was raining (as it had been ALL week). As we were driving there was a huge rainbow that we were able to see pretty much the whole drive there. How special! That was the first real rainbow S had ever seen.
S brought his Bionicle with him. While we were sitting in the booth, he decided he would stand his Bionicle up on the ledge next to our booth (the ledge was near a walkway where the waiters and waitresses were walking by). We then started laughing and trying to see if anyone would notice the Bionicle sitting there. We got giggling so hard when pretty much no one noticed. Eventually our waiter noticed (which really thrilled S) and then one nice waitress that walked by noticed and came by and talked to S about it. Anyway, we laughed about that even on our drive home. And of course we had to share that with N and dad when we walked in the door.
For our group dessert, we had mochi and I also made them a small cup of hot chocolate because N didn't get to try it at school cause he was home sick that day. Surprisingly, neither boy finished their drink... they were just excited to get to have one sip and know they had the opportunity to drink it.
